The Theron Ranch transcends the love of Cornelius Theron for the Equestrian world. He started horse riding at age 3 and did all styles of riding including English Riding, Western Riding, Gymcana, Competition Jumping, and Show Riding winning hundreds of ribbons and trophies.
As a kid, he grew up on a ranch in Africa where on horseback he had to protect the farm animals, especially the cattle and sheep from wild dogs, hyenas, and lions with his horse Kalahari sleeping under the African sky.
Later in life, after his military years, he worked as an engineer by day and rode Arabian Stallions by weekend with his cousin Mac, hunting across the African plains and sleeping under the African stars, just with his rifle, his horse, and a campfire.
The love for the equestrian side of life is truly a gift from God and Cornelius intends to spread that love!
After immigrating to America in 1990, family and work became the priority, but the love he had for horses, drew Cornelius to The Polo Capital of the world namely Wellington. This new Theron Ranch right in the heart of the equestrian world brings back tons of memories of his former life with horses in Africa. Living in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave in an Equestrian environment has been a life-long dream that finally came true for Cornelius THERON.
The Stables at Theron Ranch will be maintained and rented out to horse lovers like Cornelius to promote this tradition and lifestyle that so many people worldwide need to be introduced to.
