Ultra-high-net-worth individuals, international athletes, and prominent family offices require absolute discretion, physical safety, and protection for high-value livestock and equipment against unauthorized access.

Theron Equestrian Connection (TEC) — Sovereign Facility & High-Value Equine Terms

WARNING: Under Florida law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities (Florida Statutes Chapter 773).

1. Acknowledgment of Elite Asset Value & Risk: The undersigned applicant and/or equine owner explicitly acknowledges that facilities at Theron Ranch Palm Beach accommodate world-class, elite polo and international show jumping horses—including high-performance equines valued in excess of tens of millions of dollars (up to and exceeding $42,000,000). Due to the extraordinary intrinsic value, sensitivity, and athletic specialization of these animals, the equine owner assumes full and absolute responsibility for maintaining comprehensive, all-risks equine mortality, major medical, transit, and third-party liability insurance coverage.

2. Limitation of Liability & Care, Custody, and Control: Theron Ranch Trust (TRT), Theron Equestrian Connection (TEC), its directors, trustees, staff, and affiliates provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, GGT-footing arenas, and 24/7 security. However, management shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, disability, loss, or death of any horse, rider, staff member, or guest, howsoever caused, including ordinary negligence, except in cases proven to involve willful or wanton misconduct under Florida law.

3. Mandatory Insurance Warranty: Every boarder, owner, or syndicate utilizing TEC stables or executive quarters warrants that their horses and personnel are fully covered by independent insurance policies. TEC does not provide primary insurance coverage for boarded animals or third-party equipment. Proof of active equine mortality and liability insurance must be submitted prior to horse arrival including medical records.

4. Emergency Veterinary & Medical Authorization: In the event of sudden illness, colic, injury, or medical emergency where the owner or designated agent cannot be reached immediately, TEC management is formally authorized to contact and engage licensed equine veterinary specialists (including surgical referral clinics). The owner agrees to assume sole financial responsibility for all veterinary, surgical, diagnostic, and pharmaceutical expenses incurred.

5. Sovereign Sanctuary Protocols: All visitors, owners, and staff agree to adhere strictly to the private security, surveillance, and operational guidelines of Theron Ranch. Management reserves the right to refuse entry, suspend privileges, or require immediate removal of any animal or personnel violating facility protocols or presenting health risks or a threat or danger to the equestrian community.
